Cherryl Habchy

I'm in the process of discovering my journey towards becoming a film director. It's a lengthy road, but I'm steadily making progress one step at a time. I lean towards a poetic and abstract style of storytelling. After all, there is much more to reality than meets the eye.

Born in Lebanon, I graduated with an M2 from the Lebanese University of Fine Arts and Architecture, where my practical approach to film was cultivated and enriched. Afterwards, I pursued my studies in France, earning an M2 in Cinematic Studies at University Grenoble Alpes, during which I explored a research-based approach to cinema. Simultaneously, over the course of five years, I worked in the field, focusing particularly on post-production. Today, having completed my extensive academic journey, I am finally ready to embark on my career path, aspiring to fulfill my dream of becoming a film director.
